TO SOME

Mary-R Poet

It does not happen

that we are young in years,

but still, be youthfully free

in heart and soul,

to love despite.

We are what we are

and act the same

as the wind cries out

and exclaims,

“The world will move

‘round and ‘round

taking with it the

ugly time downwind

but never this devotion.”

                                         Listen to the wind.
