Kumpelnest 3000, Berlin by dieflaneuse

Kumpelnest 3000 is a bar in Berlin foundet in the early 80tes. Orginal it was a redlight bar. Before the Berlin Wall breaks down mostly artist, glamour people, neighbour`s, moviefreaks, celebrated party`s the hole night, every day the week. The persons behind the bar are the whos who of the berlin underground art scene. Like Mark Brandenburg, Members of Tödliche Doris and also the legendary crew of Teufelsberg Production, Ogar Grafe, Hermoine Zittlau and the autor, performing artist Eva Maria Ocherbauer did beautiful performances. Up from the 90tes the young people went to east berlin and so it became more quiet. Now there is a coming up again because the people wandering back from the east berlin youth camp like Prenzlauer Berg or Friedrichshain to the old Westberlin parts like Kreuzberg or Schöneberg where Kumpelnest is located. Best time on weekend start at 3 to 4 in the morning, because before it`s to much crowded. But also during the week it`s always a good place for a drink and more.
